The Black Sheep Bar and Rock Riot promotions are coming together on the first Sunday of each month.

Rock Riot are now working with established bands to headline and perform at these shows, supported by the best Croydon has to offer!

SUNDAY 4TH MAY:
The Bad Robots:
Finalists on t-mobiles Unsigned competition fit in Croydon between The Camden Crawl and The Great Escape Festival:
The Bad Robots
'We play flat out rock and roll with solid helpings of ska bashed in for good measure. Aspiring to the heights set by our idols The Clash, The Beatles and The Jam, we make music in the belief that rock and roll is about getting sweaty and that it’s about jumping to, yelling at and cheering for your favourite band. We came together to make a band that plays music that makes people feel good. And not in a creepy 'kissing your best friends younger sister' good. We mean cut to the bone, bounce around the room with no pants on and your shirt over your head, breaking the strings off your tennis racket, covering the hairbrush handle in spit good. So, with members ranging from clean cut right through on a degrading scale to debaucherously hairy, and pulling in influences from ridiculous places, putting their hearts in their mouths and biting down hard as hell, you get us, The Bad Robots. Sounds like fun now don't it??'
+ The Stayaways:
Based in Camden Up and coming Three Piece making major waves!
The Stayaways don’t do blues, funk, country, jazz and Robbies brand of music. After years of embarking on other musical missions, the mainstay have come together to create The Stayaways. Based in the heart of Londons dirty old Camden Town, the 3 piece are happy to play for anyone that will stop and stare and listen.
+ General Paulus:
+ Is Johnny High?
We’re a four piece band from south east london.
We go to the BRIT school
Our live shows are a mixture of fast intense punk, catchy singalong moments and etheral guitar effects. The crowds at our shows seem to be drawn in by the spontanious, chaotic stage appearance and an attitdue of ’everyones a member’, branding everyone we can get our hands on at our shows with a little ’IJH?’.
We play all original sets all over london and the south east, including an Oxjam show, a couple of festivals over the summer and regular gigs at clubs in london.

With a sturdy disregard for the angular-centric, over-produced disco rock that has dominated London's music scene over the past few years, Yeti has stayed true to their original convictions and served audiences around the world with a much-needed dose of spontaneous, harmony-driven psychedelic pop. Marrying exquisite musicianship and songwriting that cuts straight to the core, Yeti's sound is at once timeless and effortless.
